Last night while taking a shower I suddenly felt the need to look outside the shower quickly. As I looked I saw my dear hubby with a very mischievious grin and and a huge container of water. Based on past experiences I knew it would be very cold and coming over the shower curtain quickly.
With my stealth like moves I managed to push the container to the side and for the most part avoid being frozen. Not only did the water end up all over the bathroom but it also started an all out war in the house.
The girls were quick to come to my rescue. For the rest of the evening we were chasing each other. Girls against the one boy. Emily and Chloe were so cute. At one point we (the girls) were locked in my bedroom and they were using skype to try and negotiate with the enemy (their dad) in the office. He looked pretty scary on there. :) I should have taken a screen shot so I could put it up on this post.
We all had a fun filled evening with lots of laughing, screaming and tickling. Although it took the girls about an hour to settle down and fall asleep at bedtime. Oh well.

that’s awesome… i remember a few “fights” like that my family had when i was a kid… they’re some of my best memories, i have no doubt last night will always stand out in your daughters’ minds!

Lisa, that brings back memories of when Of when Brad and Jason were young. We had a hot water tank that was hot water on demand. Well when I would be taking a shower, the boys would shut off the hot water. That was especially fun in the winter. I can still hear myself screaming.

When Dale and I were in our first apartment he got a bucket of water and poured it into the shower while I was in there…and I did it back to him…then it was his turn…and mine again…and so on…I’m sure if he reads this it will spark that idea back into his head again! I’ll think of something…
bottom line I’d be DEAD MAN.. if i tried to do something like that to Karen.. DEAD MAN walkin..

The first house i rented had a window in the shower…so when my friend would come over and stay with me I would sneak around the backside of the house open the window and spray her with the hose. Didn’t take her long to remember to check the bathroom window to make sure it was locked before she got in the shower.
When i was living in Arizona my cousins and i got into a water fight with the hose outside…my cousin toby ran in the house during the fight and then his sister came running into the house with the hose and soaked everything…the house was wet for a few days.
Another time, my darling brothers turned all of my furniture around in my house to face the walls, even my nicknacks were facing the walls. I got mad, found a pair of my brothers underwear, that he left in the bathroom…yuck…threw them in front of his bedroom door and poured Elmers glue all over them. He couldn’t stop laughing when he found the underwear.

wow… Thankfully Drew has never played that trick on me. And I know better than to start something because I KNOW I’d lose!!

That is SO hilarious! My husband has done the same exact thing to me before.
The meanest prank I ever pulled was in college. It’s almost embarrasing to tell. I think I’ll blog about it tonight. Look for it tomorrow…..you just inspired me to rat on myself.
