Chloe is off to school. The girls and I are really excited that we live close enough to walk to school everyday.
This afternoon I get to spend time with Emily in her Kindergarten class. She starts the school year with a tea party. I will have pics later today.
I have been really excited for the new year. As we left Chloe in a new school, with a new teacher, I felt a little emotional. I could feel the tears in my eyes.
She is in second grade and we have done this three times already but I still felt a little bit of sadness. I will be praying for her all day. I can’t wait to hear about her day!

Changing schools is so hard..especially for us moms. I never changed schools except when I was supposed to because of grade level.
She’ll do great!

I think that sadness comes no matter what age they are…mine are in 6th, 4th, and 2nd grade this year and even though we were happy for the school year to start again there is still that little bit of a tear jerker when you leave them in their classrooms for the first time to start a new grade…because they are growing up faster than I can keep up with them.

Is Emily in full day kindergarten? I remember my parents starting me out on that…I was so jealous that the other kids got to go home early! =)
Btw, that’s a very cute hat that Chloe is wearing.
