How Many Cheerleaders Can Fit In A Elevator?

EXCERPT:
AUSTIN, Texas - How many cheerleaders can cram into an elevator? Apparently not 26. A group of teenage girls attending a cheerleading camp on the University of Texas got stuck and had to be rescued after trying to squeeze into an elevator at a residence hall Tuesday night.
Reading this story made me cringe! I have real issues with elevators. I hate riding them. If possible, I will always take the stairs.
Brad usedto say crazy things like:
“Did you feel that?”
“The door won’t open!”
“I think it stopped.”
“What if we can’t get out?”
“Did you hear that?”
He doesn’t do that anymore because I refuse to ride the elevator with him unless he promises to be nice.
I usually pray and breathe deep while in the elevator. Very funny sight, I’m sure. I do whatever is needed for me not to panic.
If I allowed my mind to run, I could have a serious panic attack. I’ve never had one, but elevators used to bring me real close!
Do you have any phobias?

Getting my face wet. I don’t swim underwater. I don’t even get my face wet in the shower. Weird. I know.

i’m scared to wear rings for fear of not being able to take them off when i want to because of swelling!
ex: sitting in the theater watching a movie. i reach down to ‘twist’ my ring and discover i can’t move it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! aaahhhhhh! it make s me shake just thinking about it! =-) breathe, deep breath…
I’m afraid of gutters. I can’t walk over them without having a panic atttack, i swear. And my wonderful husband, loves to tease me about it too. He will hold my hand when he sees one coming and pull me on top of it or he will stop on top of it and start to jump, that makes me so nervous for him. I freak, and he gets a good laugh…through the good times and the bad, right!? I’m nervous just thinking about it.
LOL…Brad’s “helpful” comments crack me up! Glad you put your foot down on those :). My newly developed phobia is stray dogs/ unknown dogs! Weird, huh? I’ve never really had an issue before, but now, whenever we are out for walks and I see a dog, I get really panicky.

Bees. Things that buzz and sting. Hate them! Keep them FAR AWAY.
Fire. Nuff said…
our seminary’s elevator has a LONG delay after reaching the basement floor… like three seconds. i always get hit by a slight wave of panic just before the door opens.
i’m sure you’d leave claw marks on the door if you were in that elevator. it’s enough to make one go crazy!

Elevators make me dizzy….I don’t like escalators, I am always afraid I am going to lose my balance an fall while I am on those, I don’t like stairs either, because of the falling thing. I am afraid of heights, too. My newest phobia is my car breaking down, this is because my dad was my hero whenever any of my vehicles broke down. When he was diagnosed with cancer 5 years ago my car just quit in the middle of the road and I had no control over it, I had all three kids in the car with me and my future hubby, when it quit I had enough speed going to pull into an empty lot. In the process I hit a light pole pulling into the lot and messed up the front end of my car pretty bad….and dad couldn’t come to my rescue because he was in the hospital…to this day if anyone makes a quick move or my van makes any weird noises I go into panic mode.
I hope that didn’t sound bad because I said, “and dad couldn’t come to my rescue because he was in the hospital”…the car quitting added to the stress I was already feeling with my dad being in the hospital. The fact that he is no longer here to run to my aid is what make me panic.
